1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Fynvia mobile application (the “App”) and the website at fynvia.in (the “Website”), together the “Services”. By downloading, accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Permitted use

You may use the Services for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and any applicable app store terms. You agree not to:

• use the Services in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations;
• copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the Services, or attempt to reverse engineer or extract their source code, except where permitted by law;
• interfere with or disrupt the Services, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to them; or
• use the Services to present calculations to others as professional financial advice.

3. Calculator estimates

The Services provide calculators and planning tools that produce estimates. Results depend entirely on the inputs you enter and the formulas, conventions and simplifications used (for example, compounding frequency, timing of payments, rounding and treatment of taxes, fees or charges). Results may differ from those of other calculators, financial institutions or official statements, and may not reflect the actual terms of any financial product.

4. Assumptions and projections

Projections such as future values, estimated returns, maturity amounts or interest savings are based on assumed rates and conditions that you choose or that are shown as defaults. Real-world outcomes depend on market performance, interest rate changes, inflation, taxation, product terms and other factors that cannot be predicted. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.

5. No financial, investment, tax or legal advice

Fynvia provides financial calculation and planning tools for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing in the Services constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal or other professional advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security, fund, deposit, loan, insurance or other financial product. Fynvia is not a registered investment adviser, broker or financial planner. You should consider seeking advice from a suitably qualified professional before making financial decisions.

6. No guarantee of returns

Fynvia does not guarantee any return, outcome, savings or performance. Investments, including those in mutual funds and market-linked products, are subject to market risks, and the value of investments can go down as well as up.

7. Your responsibility for financial decisions

You are solely responsible for the information you enter, for verifying results independently, and for any financial decisions you make. Before acting on any calculation, review the actual terms, documents and disclosures of the relevant financial product and, where appropriate, consult a professional.

8. Intellectual property

The Services, including their design, text, graphics, logos, the Fynvia name and software, are owned by or licensed to Fynvia and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the Fynvia name, logos or trademarks. The calculation data and plans you create remain yours.

9. Third-party services

The Services rely on or link to third-party services, such as app stores, Google Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob and website hosting providers. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Fynvia is not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party services or websites.

10. Advertising

The App may display advertisements served by third parties, including Google AdMob. Advertisements are not endorsements or recommendations by Fynvia. Any dealings you have with advertisers, including purchases of products or services, are solely between you and the advertiser. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how advertising services may process data.

11. Availability and changes to the Services

We aim to keep the Services available and working well, but we do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or available on every device or operating system version. We may add, change or remove features, calculators or content, or suspend or discontinue the Services, at any time. Because saved plans are stored on your device, we recommend keeping your own records of anything important.

12. Limitation of liability

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fynvia disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fynvia will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, savings, investment value or data, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Services or any calculation they produce. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where changes are significant, provide additional notice within the App or on the Website. Continuing to use the Services after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
